The Earthquake in Iran
The Earthquake, which happened on June 21 1990, 00:30:09, in Iran, had killed at least 40 thousand people and had left 60 thousand people injured. The Earthquake had also caused more than 100 000 houses to be destroyed. Many people have lost their homes while other residents were too afraid to return home due to the aftershocks that lasted for several days.

The Iran earthquake was caused by the Arabian plate moving northwards of the Eurasian plate.

The magnitude of the earthquake is 6.5 . The government helped the affected population to receive sufficient quality of food fom different sources. The government also provided the affected people with blankets, bed linen,mattresses, sets of new clothes, pairs of footwear, family hygiene parcels for 3 months, kitchen sets and jerry cans.

In my opinon, i think the government should put strong beams under the buildings to ensure that the foundation of the buiding does not move and crack around too much. Another idea is that when you think that your house in risk, never put anything on high places such as shelves.
